Turn off breaker to oven and verify no power.
Remove the two screws holding metal panel covering baking element on the floor of the oven (near back of inside of oven)
Remove two screws holding element mount to floor of oven (near front of inside of oven).
Remove single screw holding element to back wall of oven.
Pull ... Read more element toward front of oven, carefully holding wires so they do not disconnect from element and slip inside the ovenback wall.
When you can reach the wire connections, hold each one with a pair of pliers and disconnect from element ends.
Connect new element ends into wire connections. Be sure to insert all the way into both connectors.
Carefully, push the wires back into the rear of the oven, trying not to scrape the wires on the sheet metal.
When fully inserted, reinstall single screw to secure element to back wall.
Re-install two screws to element mounting at the front of the oven floor.
Re-install two screws to secure element cover plate to the floor of the oven.
Turn on breaker for oven and verify oven has power.
Turn on oven to bake at 400 degrees.
Wait for oven to come up to temp and maintain for 10-15 min (you may smell some burning smells as the element heats up the first time).

First I removed the two wires from the back of the stove. I then removed the two screws that were holding the element in place. Installed the new one without problems

swap a known good coil around and still did not work. then measured voltage across the switch terminals and found out one leg was opened. Ordered a new switch which looked alike. The new switch could handle more current than the old one. Turned out that all terminals of the new switch were same size while the old one had 1 smaller size. U ... Read more sed the dremer tool to file it to fit the wire terminal. Also the burner knob had different grove type . Just forced it in.

Went to this site and read what a few others had done to fix their problem. Found the model number and ordered part. It was on our steps in less than 3 days. It took less than half an hour to replace and put back together. Just had my first meal from "NEW" oven. Great site, great price and great service!

Hired a pro. Parts are difficult to get on a timely basis today , if at all. Screw up this repair by damaging the outer " black glass " and you buy a new stove. First I called a repairman and left a message. That was 3 weeks ago. So, I 'googled' the error message and determined what part I thought I needed. Removed front panel of range, removed switch (2 screws), unclipped wires from back of existing switch. Installed new switch - reverse order of above.

The sensor is mounted in the top right side of the oven.An extra long screw driver helps to avoid damage to the sensor when replacing it.The connectors were the opposite to the old sensor and I did not see that there were adapter cables included. Unplug appliance, unscrew small cover plate in rear. Disconnect wires from old element, may need to use needle nose pliers to wiggle clips off. Removed the ice brucket,
Removed the light shield by releasing one screw using a nutdriver.
Replacing the bulb and reinstalled the light shield.

Removed the two screws holding the sensor to the rear oven wall. pulled out sensor wire. It was caught on other wires behind the oven. removed the three screws holding the 8" inspection plate in the center of the rear panel.
