9825XUB Magic Chef Wall Oven - Instructions

installed part,turned unit on-temp still cold. reset digital control, up 35 degrees, still cold. un-plugged unit,re-connect after 10 min. still cold.

This was too simple, turned off the power to the oven, undid the two screws, unplugged two wires, plugged wires into the new element, fastened the new screws and turned the power back on. Turned on the oven, what do you know, it works again!

The element did not come with instructions and none were needed.

Replaced the thermostat according to existing videos and had to adjust the thermostat using instuctions in the user manual for model CWE4800ACB.

Suggest taking a photo of oven and the hinge with door removed. Keep track of each screw and where they go as they are different sizes. Not a hard install at all.

Pulled range out from cabinet-wall to get to back side, everthing was clearly exposed tlhen. Just a matter of installing new fixture, putting back on, reconnected power source - put range back in proper place.

I installed the new oven sensor but the problem continued. So I ordered a new relay board and installed it. Still no luck. So I pulled the new board back out and started trouble shooting it using my electronic background. I had to pull out the oven and balance the oven on two patio tables. Remove the back of the oven. Pull out the light assembly which was burnt. I was unable to remove the casing around the light, so I destroyed it with a pliers. Reinstalling the new light and assembly was easy. Had to remove oven from mounting cabinet to get to the back since the wire lenght to the conector was to short to come through the mounting hole.
Other than that the repair was straight forward. 4 screws to dismount the Oven from cabinet, 2 screws to remove Sensor and 3 srews to open the back of the oven once out in the open. New cab ... Read more le adapter that came with the new sensor was needed in my case.

Flipped off breaker and removed oven door and pulled built in stove out so the back panel could be removed. Unplugged the sensor then removed the two screws securing the old sensor inside the oven and installed new sensor. First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires, that were clipped on. slipped them off connected the new element screwed it back into the oven.

After trying to set the bake temp after the self cleaning, it would not heat up. I Googled the model number,selected your link because it mentioned my symptom,and said usually it is the temp sensor in the oven that gets damaged by the high self cleaning heat. Less than a week later I got my part with instructions. Your video showed me the two screws I remove from the front ,and I pulled the old part out and uplugged it's connector. Replacement was easy, and oven was fixed! Thank you for a great site! You held my hand through it all!

Determining the correct bake element to order was the most difficult part. Once I received the part, it took me 2 minutes to unscrew the back panel, detach the wires, connect the new wires and re-connect the back pannel - turned the oven on to test - and we were all set just in time for Chistmas baking.

Awesome, just awesome, you guys are great and I will use you again and again.

unscrew the old ones and replaced the new one - easy as that! Savings of over $300.00 if I need to buy a new one! Thanks for the speedy service after I ordered it.

Simply removed old element,2 screws,clean'd oven b/4 install'n new one,reconnect'd 2 wires,2 screws & yea oven wrks again. My husband was very happy as the oven is 34 yrs old,I just copied the model #,went 2 u'r web site,& we r very happy campers,so thank you very much.
