Unplugged range; removed back cover; removed old oven probe. Installed new probe; replaced cover; connected power and turned on range - that simple. My only issue was probe was shipped in bubble rap and unit was slightly damaged (bent). Once straightened, the probe could be installed. Probe should have been shipped in sturdy cardboa rd cylinder or box. I called customer service, they were very nice, and noted my feedback on my account in case the unit fails prematurely.

Started with trying to take the door off for easier access to heating element.

I ended up lifting the door off and the front glass shattered and I sliced my hand open.

Ended up buying a new oven/range.

Removed 2 screws located underneath the front lip of the range top. Lifted range top and supported. Removed the 2 screws at either end of the support bracket. This bracket holds the elements in position. Be careful not to let the elements fall out when removing. The elements are now free to replace. Swap out the old with the new and be su re to reconnect the wires to the correct terminals on the new element. I did 1 wire at a time so as to not make a mistake at reconnecting the wires. Then replace the support bracket with the 2 screws and lower the range top in place and put back the 2 screws that hold the range top in position. VOILA!! Success. It works. The wife is now happy again:)

Disconnected power and removed rear panels. Went through basic troubleshooting of oven safety switches and controls. Determined problem was control board. Removed control board and ordered replacement.
Removed control board’s faceplate by carefully separating it from board with utility knife. Installed faceplate on new control board (stick on) and installed board into control panel. Reinstalled rear panels and reconnected power.
Verified oven operation.

So I ordered one online. I installed it and I still have F31 code and still won't work. So what now? Do I trust them to tell me another part?
