71069 LG Refrigerator - Instructions

Unplugged the frig and removed two phillip screws on flapper door of left door... Unplugged the electrical connector and removed flapper...
Picked up new flapper and snapped electrical contractor together... Slid new flapper bar into place and inserted two phillip screws... Job complete in 15 minutes...

1. Unplug the refrigerator (to avoid shock) 2. With one screwdriver pry open the switch on the side facing the door to a gap of about 1/8 inch 3. Now that you have to buy a complete assembly that includes the drawer in the classy window it's very simple to replace however you buying parts that you don't need simply because G no longer makes the window. Read previous tips
Taped off area around switch to protect surface
Used putty knife to extract switch
Used screwdriver to separate connector from switch
Plugged in connector
Pushed switch assembly into opening
Removed tape

Removed upper drawer/basket from freezer

Removed 2 Philips screws

Removed rail bracket assembly

Reinstalled reversing those steps

Works like new.

Made installation of the new part a piece of cake. Easy peasy!! Took less than 10 minutes.

Used a small screw driver inserted into the front of the switch (facing the front) and pried until the switch was coming out. When out, I removed the connect harness and replace the switch with a new one.

Just popped it in, just as easy as that!

Easy install, small screwdriver under back of old switch push out and pull out with small pliers. unsnap the old plug and install new. YOUR DONE

Read the reviews from other members and just did as they said. Needed a screw driver and the info from past persons review couldn’t have been easier.

Took 2 screws out and disconnect wire and install new part.

Just laid the shelf down. Fit like a glove!
