The gasket was torn and leaking cold air.
Pulled the old gasket out.l. Started at the top left corner of the gasket and pushed the Corning in tight and push the gasket in to the other corner down the right side th the corner, across to the left bottom corner and up the right side to the start of the beginning. Very easy installation.

Delivery was fast. Satisfied with part select.com. Spoke to a representative in customer service and she checked to make sure I was ordering the correct part. Very satisfied with your service.

Swapped old one with new one. New one had extra plug not needed.

Spring broke on Mullion
Watched the video. Took the screws out, unplugged the connection and slid mullion off. Then plugged the new one in, slid it on and attached the two screws.

Spring broken in door mullion
Took 2 screws out and disconnect wire and install new part.

door slight switch failed
Covered the sidewall with tape to protect. Pried the switch out with knife blade and removed electric plug with needle nose pliers. placed plug in new switch and pushed switch into the hole in the side wall. Took about five minutes.

Spring in the plate front assembly broke. Door plate assembly would not move into correct position, preventing door from closing.

Door light switch, 3rd one I have replaced in 6 years made in China.
Easy install, small screwdriver under back of old switch push out and pull out with small pliers. unsnap the old plug and install new. YOUR DONE

Used putty knife to extract switch

Door gaskets bad and no ice
Replaced both gaskets on French style doors. Note: left and right gaskets are different part numbers. Had to remove flapper door to change the left gasket and all 3 wires on the flapper were broke. Replaced flapper door. Also found cover on top of the door hinge loose. Has a button on it that tells ice maker door is closed. Shuts off the water to the ice maker when door is open. Never knew that! Ice maker is now working again. P.S. gaskets are very easy to change. After removing 2 screws on flapper door, you need to tap it up in order to remove it.

The spring on the mullion was broken so the mullion would not open to seal the other door.
I am a73 year old woman. If I can do this, anyone can. Super easy. Just watch the online video.

Switch stops working
Replace with new switch. this is the third switch i have replaced in 10 years. the only part, besides a light bulb, that has gone bad. obviously this is a problem with this model for Kenmore, or just poor switch design.
