10 Minutes for a stove my landlord thought was not fixable (repairman had already cut the wires to the element and capped them)! The delivery person handed me the package, I got out the single tool needed, installed the part, put away the tool, cleaned my hands, and put a pot of water on the stove to boil for pasta. 10 minutes!

I ordere the new burner element. It arrived quickly compared to some of the things I order. I removed the broken burner element and plugged in the new one and that was all that was needed. It feels pretty good to have that burner working properly again.

new drip bowl fit perfectly and was a snap to install.

simply remove the burner take out the drip pan and bowl individually. Install the new one and replace the burner. no tool was used.

For YEARS we put up with the old burner coming loose from support after cleaning. When one burner began to be intermittant, we purchased a replacement from Parts Select. Perfect fit AND much better made as the support and burner are held together in more places. We quickly purchased another to replace the other 8 in burner that had same ... The video on your website showed me how to take out 1 screw, cut the existing wires and strip the ends. The kit came with 2 porcelan wire nuts to re-connect the wires and it was done. Removed old rusted drip bowls and put in the new ones. Very easy to do and needed no tools. It made my 25 plus Jenn Air look new again!

Removed stove from slot in wall. Bent rear left leg would not unscrew due to bent metal bracket. Used hacksaw to cut out leg, then straightened metal bracket with small hammer and was able to screw new leg in and adjust height by using level on stove before reinserting stove its slot. The range in my classroom had the leveling legs broke off by the summer staff. I ordered two new leveling legs and the night custodian replaced them in about 45 minutes and them leveled the stove. Parts were just as stated and easy to order.

This worked out GREAT. We were about to purchase a new range when I found the needed parts were available. The stores we had contacted had told us our range was too old to have parts available. Shut off power at breaker box. Removed top burner unit. Removed old receptacle (Mounting screw was rusty so I drilld out the old one.) Cut wires from old unit. Stripped wires back on old unit. Attached old and new wire with ceramic wire nut. Attached new unit. Reinserted top unit. Reconnected power and "voila". Wife was smiling ... Read more again.

Well, I had to search a bit deeper in the internet to find out that the problem was not with the surface burner (which did look a bit burned out anyway) but rather with the surface burner switch (Part Number: PS336885) which must have ben damaged by the heat of the closest burner. If this problem would have been better documented (or if ... Read more I would have searched more carefully) I would have saved over $40 with parts (Surface Burner Receptacle Kit) that I didn't quite need. Repairing the switch was very easy, thanks also to the available video , even though the stove used on this video (front panel) didn't quite match mine (top-back panel).

I was unable to remove the screw which held the electrical element.. so I took the new surface burner receptacle and removed the metal part, and used the old one and put in the new one in the old metal part and rewired, and it is like new.. now I need to do another one.
