My freezer compartment gasket was torn and needed replacement. This was on a bottom freezer Kenmore refrigerator. I couldn't find directions for how to take the freezer compartment door off, and figuring out how was the hardest part. Here are the instructions:
1. At least 24 hours prior to starting, remove the gasket from the pack ... Read more aging and lay it out in a warm area, to allow the creases to come out.
2. Unplug the refrigerator.
3. You will have to take BOTH doors off, so put at least the freezer compartment contents in a cooler so they don't thaw. Also remove all items from the refrigerator and freezer door.
4. Remove the refrigerator door first - remove the plastic cover from the top hinge, then remove the 3 metal screws holding the hinge in place. Lift the door up, and it will come right off. Set it aside.
5. Now remove the freezer door - there is one bolt head, for the top hinge pin. Remove it, and lift the door up and put it down on a table.
6. Towards the center, pull up on the old gasket, and use a pair of diagonal cutters to cut it in half. It will take a few cuts, but eventually you will get it out and cut in half. Then remove the old gasket.
7. The new gasket simply presses in. Start at two diagonal corners, then press the other two corners in, then do the straight sections.
8. Now replace the freezer door, then the refrigerator door, plug in the refrigerator, and put the contents back in.

I made a temporary repair by drilling the old blade plastic hub and put a small screw in it to hold it on to the shaft until the new blade arrived. The new blade came in within the two days I needed before Thanksgiving. I removed the old and pushed on the new. There were 8 screws on the back guard and two to hold the motor on. It was a ... Remove the grate at the back of the refrigerator. Remove the existing drawn tube. Replace the exiting drain tube with the updated drain tube. Check to see if water was draining properly. Replace the grate. Sit back and have a beer.

Take everything off the top self, lift the self install the new part ,put self back in place and then install the drawers again. Took minutes.

took longer to open the box and peel bubble wrap off item than to replace it!

Snapped on the new toe grille.

Replaced seal on door. Same problem. Went to Lowe's and got several magnetic cabinet door catches. Attached them to the top of the door. (they can be seen sticking up), with the magnet part screwed to the door and the metal plate attached to a small wooden block glued to the top of the body with contact cement. Cost abound $16.

"To infinity and beyond."

It took longer to empty the glass shelf above the Crisper Bins than to replace the rail. Since the part simply snaps in place, no tools were required

With a small allen wrench, I was able to loosen the two screws to remove the door handle and replace the new on without any problems. A very simple operation.

I watched the Part Select demonstration for removing and replacing the door gasket. It looked easy and was easier and faster than the demo. The toughest part was getting the wrinkles out of the new door seal.

Opened the bottom freezer door and pulled the gasket out of the groove. Pulled it out around the door and put the new one back around the door and the pressed into the groove. There was one place that a flat spot didn't take shape so I used a blow dryer to heat it up some and now it seals perfectly.

I left this broken rail hang off my refrigerator for almost a year I finally decided to investigate the possibility of ordering the part on line. I found the part on line in minutes and when I received the part it literally took me 3 minutes to install.

Killed the power to the fridge. Then, used a small, thin screwdriver to depress the clip on the bottom of the switch and wriggled the old switch out. The two wires easily came off the contacts with pliers. Connected the wires to the new switch and snapped it into the hole--clip facing down and contacts facing up. Turned the power back ... The part just snapped in. super easy.
