Removed pcs. of old handle, replaced new handle, installed handle trim strip. Took less than 5 min. Thanks

Could not be easier and I think it took me longer to open the packaging than it did to install. Remove the insert from the face of the old handle and remove the two screws (top & bottom) beneath the insert & discard broken handle (retain original screws). Put original screws through new handle, place in position and drive the screws in. ... Read more Then snap in the insert panel. (My insert was old & brittle and did crack upon removal, but I had anticipated that and ordered a new insert as well.) Took 5 minutes....but I'm pretty handy and it might take someone else 6 minutes.

A little research told me the hum plus no cooling was either the compressor or the relay. I ordered the new relay and put it in but it didn't fix the problem. I ended up having to buy a new fridge, but it was worth the $30 gamble to see if I could fix it on the cheap and it saved me the money a service call would've cost. Pretty easy i ... first removed two screws that held handle. Then replaced. Ordered a motor 3 years ago from land office with verbal over counter instructions and that was easier but to get part this time was very simple ! I was surprised that the screws and trim piece were not included so make sure you have them from the old handle or order new. First removed the broken ends still on the freezer. I removed the small metal brackets from the old handle and put them on the new one, screwed the handle to the freezer and put the trim piece on. Real easy.

We removed the trim and the screws and kept them in a safe place until the handle arrived. It took only about 10 minutes start to finish. Very Easy!

Needed to remove both left and right broken (plastic) supports and reinsert the new parts. Not hard at all...worked like a charm!

I watched the videos (they really help) and followed the steps. Everything went smooth with no surprises

per the video..easy installation....unfortunately the temperature did not improve. We still have a refrigerator temp in the upper freezer.....and a "cooler" in the refrigerator section

I should have ordered start kit instead of start capacitor. The start cap astir did not fix problem so I ordered kit. Compasator comes as part of kit. Followed enclosed instructions. Cut existing wires and reconnected new wiring. Simple as that. It's a plug in item. Now worried it may be working to good. Freezer down to 10 deg. Watching ... I replaced the defrost timer,defrost thermostat,and run cap.as it turned out the compressor went bad. I dont know the model because but the time I got this review I replaced the refer with a knew one . two weeks living out of coolers was so much fun !!!!!!!!

backed out screws from old handle, install new hansel w/ same screws & screw cover. done

it was great. I ordered the capacitor for my frigidaire frig and it arrived
in 3 days. plugged in the part to the compressor and my frig has been
working ever since. I spent 3 minutes ordering the part and 30 seconds
attaching it to the frig. Easy, very easy. saved myself a 75 dollar repair
visit. thanks

thanks to all of the people who had the same problems I was able to make a quick fix on my fridge. I pulled the back cover off and found the compressor not kicking on so I replaced the start cap. and im back in bussiness.

Remove cover on handle, and unscrewed the old handle. Then reversed procedure
