First I disconnected the power. Then I removed the burner element and drip pan. Using the screwdriver I removed the single screw that holds the terminal block in place. I then cut the 2 wires to the old terminal block. I connected the wires of the new block to the existing wires using the supplied wire nuts. Next I slipped the supplied h

eat shrink tubing over the wire nut and wires and using the heat gun I applied heat to the shrink wrap. Finally I reinstalled the new terminal block using the old screw and re-installed the drip pan and burner. I repeated the procedure for 2 other burners that were exhibiting the same problem. All work perfectly.

The terminal bloctk silver attachment did not fit our stove. We had to use the old one and take off a little of the nipple that snapped it into place .used a bench grinder for that. The rest was easy. Used a heat gun paint stripper to shrink the shrink wrap,Saved a big repair bill.

The hardest part was working in the oven.
Turn off power
Open Oven Door, remove racks
Remove two mounting screws with nut driver.
Slide the element out to expose the wire connections.
Remove the screws and pull the element out.
Place the new element in oven.
Clamp on to each of the terminals wit ... Read more h vice grips to keep from bending the element and install the screws.
Slide the element back into place and put the two mounting screws back in.
Put the racks back in and turn on the power and test. You may get a little smoke off the new coil.
Like I said the hardest part is leaning into the oven to attach the screws, do not sit on the oven door.

Everything was very easy: identifying the right part was very easy on the website, the part came quicker than I expected, and my wife replaced the stove element before I even got home from work. She just pulled the old one out like she would to clean the top of the stove, and put the new one back in. Have had several awesome cups of co

I removed the old element and replaced it with a new part. It was very simple.
The power was turned off. The elemnt wiring was removed. The new one was installed in reverse order. Power back on and the oven tested just fine.

I followed the easy instructions and everything went well. I had the new switch installed in about 30 minutes. My wires were different colors than on the instructions but it was still easy to figure out where the wires went on the new switch. Just do not be in a hurry and make sure you measure before you break off the extension bar. My kn
