3115PUV Magic Chef Range - Instructions

Instead of buying a new range my son said he could replace the part so I looked your company up on internet and had it shipped. Three days later I was cooking with gas again! Thanks!

My husband simply twisted out the old burner with a pliers and attach the new burner. Simple and easy....

I removed the old module ,replaced new bracket,crimped new wire lugs on wires. being an electrician for 50 plus years helped.      Thanks   Lloyd

I followed the video and it was incredibly easy. I shut the breaker off (we live in an apartment, and pulling the plug on the stove wasn't possible). USED CHANNELOCK PLIERS TO ROTATE BURNER COUNTER-CLOCKWISE. PULLED OFF THE CONNECTORS, APPLIED RUST TREATMENT TO THE REPLACEMENT PART, WHICH HAD ITSELF STARTED TO CORRODE. Unplugged two connectors and plugged into new burner. Couldn't have been easier! Also, I was so pleased that it matched the other three burners exactly!

Used pliers to remove clips and old seal. Snap in new seal. DONE! Less than 5 mins.

Turned burner about 1/16 turn to left. Lifted burner from stove. Disconnected two wire connectors. Connected same wires to new burner. Set burner in place and turned 1/16 turn to right. Tested burner. Lighter worked on first attempt and burned perfectly. Took about 3 1/2 minutes.

Replaced the igniter by removing 2 screws, pulling on the wires to pull the connector in from the back thru the oval opening, screwing in the the new element, reconnecting the wires, pushing the connector back and that did it.

I took pliers to get the old one off, and popped the new one back in its place, and it fit perfect.

Super easy. Turn off gas and unplug. Lift door off hinges, just pull up on it. Take racks out. Lift floor of oven out. Carefully plug in the new part. Feed wires back into the oven wall and install fiberglass padding. Replace screws, shield plate, wing nut, oven floor, oven racks and door. Door just slides back onto hinges. Watch the video on parts elect. Couldn't have been easier. Saved $500 on replacing my oven. $40 for DIY repair. Awesome!!!

My brother is a handyman. The part was delivered very quickly. The instructions were very easy to read and after an hour, voila the oven works perfectly!

Thanks to previous posters, this seemed to be an igniter issue, and I found the idea of swapping the broiler igniter for the bottom one particularly good - I knew exactly what part was broken and how easy/hard the job would be prior to ordering. The part used snap in electric components, so the only work was in removing and re-installing ... Read more the parts. Working in the oven was by FAR the most difficult part of the entire process.

Remove oven door, remove burner bar, replace ignitor, splice wires together because the old electrical connectors had melted together. Shipping was fast and extra wire, insulation and ceramic wire nuts were included.

part was by the brolier drawer inside under stove removed 2 screws on cover/ part was attached to cover removed module line 1-2 fit/ had to use supplied disconects crimped on 4 burner wire leads/taped around module w/ elec. tape put back 2 screws finished. works now.
