25372106100 Kenmore Air Conditioner - Instructions

Just slid out old and replaced with new, parts were ordered Sunday night , had them Tuesday , Fast service.

Very easily, I just removed the remainder of the accordion shaped panels from the frames, the slots on the a/c case exterior and in the process, slid out the frames completely from the a/c case exterior. I then completely cleaned the rubber residue from the frames, took the new Shutter Panels, "clicked" the one side of each back into each ... Read more of the frames and then slid the other side of the Shutter Panels into the slots on the a/c case exterior, while positioning the frames into the slots on the top and bottom of the a/c case exterior. They just slide easily into place and I installed the a/c in the window, as usual and extended the frames with the new Shutter Panels as usual.

VERY VERY EASY FIX! Great site, showing the blow-up diagrams for any part you need to verify. Arrived much quicker than expected and reasonably priced. OUTSTANDING! Would highly recommend for any self-help appliance repair.

It was very easy, just slide the side panel frames out, slide the old shutters out, slide and secure the new ones in, and slide the entire frame back onto the AC unit and it was as good as new.

Once the replacement arrived, which was only 2 days after I placed the order,it took less than 5 minutes to replace the panel. The air conditioner is in the window working like new.

He then carefully slid the first panel down the side of the air conditioner side. As soon as he got it down and adjusted the accordian within the track. The more he gently pulled the accordian part the more it started to tear away from the first piece which ... Read more had to be slid down the track on both sides of the air conditioner. I called the toll free number and asked what I could do with this issue and the customer service woman on the other end of the phone was wonderful!! I didn't get her name, but she was exceptional handling/listening to my problem. So she credited my account and reordered another one for me. They were on back order so I received it within two weeks. When installing the "second" set of accordian curtains with frame the same "exact" thing happened. Frustrated and very unhappy with this appliance I put the metal clips down the side of the torn accordian curtain. I haven't called again, but the customer service woman said that "if" it happens again...she would get in touch with Frigidaire directly because of the impossible construction of these replacement parts. So I put the 30 metal clips back on the ripped one and it works for me. Tape wasn't an option because there was no way to put it on each of the fins and then pull it closed, so the metal paper clips work like a dream. I don't have any expectations of the Frigidaire company looking into this issue but it would be nice if they had a resolution to this part issue.. Thanks

It was very simple, and took about fifteen minutes. I odreed the part one day and it was delivered the next day with just the regular delivery no request for speed delivery but it cae anyway.

Simply removed the old frames and replaced with the new, exact-replacement units. Popping the vents into place was literally a snap! Thank you PartSelect!

The correct part came within 5 days. Installation was simply a matter of sliding the new side pieces in as usual, and within a few minutes it was a done deal.
