Removed parts and reused the old rollers from the sliding meat drawer. Important point to remember is to not through away any hardware before the new parts arrive. New parts are void of hardware. Removed outside cover on door despencer, (4 screws) unplug wire, removed unit from refrig and replace rusted thru wire that holds door shut. It was fairly easy. I actually took it apart twice, once for diagnosis and once for repair after the part arrived.

The part’s picture on the site was not identical to the part delivered, but the function was essentially the same. It had different connectors to the outgoing tubes and a slightly different method of attachment to the refrigerator (it required 1 additional skew - not included). Then I removed the part using an adjustable wrench (1 screw) and then detached the incoming tube. Attached the incoming tube to the new part and then remounted (2 screws). And then I attached the two outgoing tubes and turned on the water. It works great and I have no plumbing experience.

Unscrewed the gaskets from the doors and took off. screwed the screws and put tthe sealant on t he cornors on both doors and that was it. very easy. directions were great.

Remived the old hinge with no problem. Installed new part, and found that none of the holes lined up (not even close). Had to grind old hinge apart and use it as a template to lay out and drill bolt holes in replacement part. Installed new hinge, then found that it wouldn't close the fridge door. Had to disassemble the entire ice maker bucket. Simple and straightforward, didn't need any pictures or reference materials. Just time consuming.

The repair was fast and easy .I removed the ice tray , disconnected the wiring connector and lossend two screws. I removed ice maker assy.and repeated in reverse order to install. I also installed a new water filter. I had ice in about 20 minutes.

Checked for continuity in heater, defrost thermostat and defrost timer. Heater good; not sure about thermostat or timer. Replaced thermostat - no change. Replaced timer - rotating and heater working.

First I removed the plastic grill (pulled out, no screws) from bottom of refrigerator, then I removed electrical plug & two screws from old timer (timer located on the front inside left lower side of refrigerator). Installed in reverse order.

Remove ice pan below ice maker. Got mirrow verifed the type of screws. Obtained nut driver and felt it at right angle remove screws only have way. The ice maker lifts up and off. Took needle nose pliers to grip and remove electrical connection plug. The instruction and picture sent was no help the picture were the size of a thumb nail no ... I finally wrestled it in on to the two screws unscrewed from the wall about 1/2". Keep the ice maker water lever up and ensure it aligns to the water trough inlet. Works Great.

Read more it wasn't activating the valve at all. Ordered the valve, took 30-45 minutes to put it on. Worked like a charm. Full ice bucket now and water through the door again. Easy install.

I called the repairman who diagnosed the problem as a thermostat then had to order a thermostat took about 2 weeks to get back and install (cost little over $100). did good for about two weeks and same problem reoccured. I decided it was defrost timer and ordered from this site for $19.95 including shipping. I got on ( you tube ) and got ... Read more instructions(recommend you tube) for DIY install about 15 to 20 minutes. Has been running great for about 3 weeks. ( YOU TUBE IS GREAT FOR A DIY REPAIR ON ABOUT ANYTHING)

Removed existing part, tested it, found it to be defective. OrderEd a new one and replaced the existing one.

The repair was extrememly easy and took about as long as it did to order the pasrt online. Just removed the front drawer handle with a screw driver ,slide it onto the new storage drawer and reinstall. Less than 5 minutes.
