Manual Defrost-Extreme heat caused ice build-up
Defrosted freezer, hose broke due to dry-rot. Used towels to let water drain into pan. Now with the plug minimal frost build-up. No ice at all. Now if I could get a new hose to drain the water that would be great.

removing the plastic anchorsUsed
Used the flat edge of a screwdriver, which caused me to break off the corners of the plastic shield. Be nice if their was a tool to grab the anchors to pull them out

Lost Key
It's easy to know how to use a key. I didn't have a difficult part, I didn't have the model # because I had lost my key and the model # is inside. I was able to find the energy saving paper that came with it but it had four model #'s. I called a couple places and no could me. I pulled up Part Select on line and just thought I would give them a try. I got a very nice person (Jeremy) He went thru every model that I had and three out of the four matched so he sent me a key and if it didn't work I could get my money back. I give him a A+ four taking that extra step, unlike the other places. Very satisfied!

Lost original key
Brought replacement key works just like original I thought it would be metal from reviews but it was plastic and still works perfectly

Freezer not working
My freezer had not been working for some time. People who rented the house weren't aware of what happened.Upon a cursory inspection, it appeared the problem was electrical, and after opening the freezer, it looked like a wire was damaged. PartSelect's website had a wonderful diagram of parts that were in the list even though it couldn't find it specifically, once I located the part of the diagram I was able to successfully order it. Installation was easy and freezer is now working! Woo Hoo love when something works right the first time.
