oven not heating on "Bake"
  • Michael from St Louis, MO
  • Really Easy
  • Less than 15 mins
  • Screw drivers
I observed that the lower heating element was attached to the lower rear of the oven by two stainless phillips screws. I removed the screws and gently pulled the element outward. The element came out easily with two large red wires attached (one on each side). I unplugged the wires and extracted the old element. I used this as an oppor tunity to clean the floor of the oven that was hard to get at with the element in place. I installed the new element by plugging in the two red wires and used the same two stainless screws to reattach.
