My dryer quit blowing hot air I need a fuse? Everyone said start there if not that the heating element so can I get both part numbers. Thanks
For model number 1106012511
Hi Natalie, thank you for reaching out. The part you are looking for is the dryer thermal fuse, part number PS11741460. To test the fuse, please remove the two wire leads from the thermal fuse and touch a multimeter probe to each wire terminal on the fuse. Any reading less than infinity indicates a triggered thermal fuse and you will need to replace it. If you get a reading of infinity, the fuse is fine. If the fuse is good, the heating element, part number PS334313, is a likely culprit. If the issue persists, you may need to check the thermal cut-off kit, part number PS334299. We hope this sorts out your problem!
Hello Crystal, Thank you for your inquiry. We have researched the model you have provided and have found the part you are looking for is PS11754549. Good luck with your repair.
Hello Lennie, thank you for reaching out. Confirm the door is fully closed; the dryer will not start with the door open. Remove anything that is obstructing the door. Plug in the dryer or check house power at the outlet/circuit breaker. If this does not help, we recommend checking the thermal fuse, part number PS11741460. We hope this information is useful!
Hello Carol, thank you for your question. We have researched your model and found that the issue is probably with the push-to-start switch, part number PS11754549. If that does not take care of the issue, then the problem is most likely to be related to the D-shaped knob insert, part number PS11746209. If you require assistance to place an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!
Nothing to it. Just remember to put the insert in the knob, NOT on the selector stem. Line up the flat part of the insert with the flat part of the stem and push the knob in place.
Don NOT ram it on the selector stem. When it's seated, don't push any more. That's all there is to it. It works. If the pointer on the knob indicates the selector is lined up correctly, but it isn't, the problem is the selector, not the knob.
