Our fridge seems to run and cool down then shuts off and wont restart any ideas? Thank you
For model number 10651103111
PartSelect logo
Hello John, thank you for your question. The refrigerator is supposed to run through various cycles and be shut off sometimes. If it does not turn back on, This can be caused by an issue with the defrost timer or Defrost Board PS11753802. It may not prompt the refrigerator to start back up again after it has gone through a defrost cycle. We hope this helps.

Hello John, Thank you for reaching out. You can check the defrost heater circuit by putting multimeter leads on the wires connected to the control board. The circuit has continuity if the multimeter reads about 10 to 150 ohms. We hope this helps!

why is partition wall around door seals hot
For model number 10651103111
PartSelect logo
Hi Wendy, thank you for reaching out. It is completely normal for the area around and between the doors on the refrigerator case to feel warm or even a little hot. The sealed system is circulating warm liquid around the front edge of the freezer and fresh food compartment to help prevent condensation on the outside of the refrigerator. This is especially beneficial during hot and humid days. This area will always be warmer and sometimes even hot when the compressor has to run longer than usual. We hope this information is useful!
