freezer will not frezz only gets cool

I am trying to replace water line to ice and water control in the freezer door. Instructions on kit told to take old one and to feed new by the same pass ,beginning from bottom . It went to top but do not enter the hole. I tried from top to bottom and pass almost complete but it doesn't show on the outside of the pass. Is there another way to do it?

Just changed the water filter and now water flows very slowly, and ice maker has virtually stopped making ice. If it is the filter, then how can I trust buying an online product when they claim it is compatible with the OEM #9030

Hello Ray, thank you for contacting us. Make sure you have installed the compatible water filter and installed it correctly. The compatible water filter for your model is part number PS11722128. If all checks are fine, there is likely an issue with an air pocket having reached the water intake for the ice maker and has caused the fill tube to freeze. You may first need disconnect power to the fridge once you are able to transfer the items elsewhere and shut the machine down for a day or so, leaving the doors open to allow the machine to defrost. Once started backup, it may take up to a day to equalize the compartment temperatures for the functions to begin operating again. We hope this is helpful!

Thanks to the pictorial diagram, I was able to order correct parts. It was just a matter of removal of broken parts and replacing them. Ice maker now working and air is no longer getting into freezer which was freezing up ice maker. Thanks for timely delivery, now I am able to use ice dispenser, which I haven't used for long time. Thanks
