I am trying to replace water line to ice and water control in the freezer door. Instructions on kit told to take old one and to feed new by the same pass ,beginning from bottom . It went to top but do not enter the hole. I tried from top to bottom and pass almost complete but it doesn't show on the outside of the pass. Is there another way to do it?

Refrigerator runs and cools, then shuts off and doesn’t restart on its own sometimes. I can restart it with the control knob and it runs until cold, shuts down and won’t restart by itself.

Hello Tom, Thank you for your inquiry. First we would recommend checking and cleaning the compressor coils. It could also be an issue with the cold control thermostat, the defrost thermostat, the defrost heater, and the relay and overload. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. Good luck with your repair.
Thanks to the pictorial diagram, I was able to order correct parts. It was just a matter of removal of broken parts and replacing them. Ice maker now working and air is no longer getting into freezer which was freezing up ice maker. Thanks for timely delivery, now I am able to use ice dispenser, which I haven't used for long time. Thanks
