10611 Kenmore Ice Maker - Parts

This part is used to help tell the icemaker what to do - it turns the timing cams and the ejector blades. Motor is not sold separately.

***NOTE: Ice maker does NOT come with the bail or shut off arm. You must order them separately if required. It does come complete with flat and round plug wiring harness, the mounting hardware, and the instructions. The harness can be reused. The ice maker will not fit refrigerators that have the ice auger mounted on the door.

This icemaker water inlet cup is three inches long. It is all white in color and is made of plastic.

This part is also known as the cycling thermostat and this bi-metal device controls the activation of the icemaker ejection cycle.

The water inlet valve is a solenoid-operated switch located at the bottom of the refrigerator. This ice cube mold and heater assembly has a flake resistant surface. It is used with modular style icemakers on some refrigerators.

This part strips ice from the icemaker mold during the ejection cycle to prevent ice pieces from falling back into the mold.

When the shut off arm is high enough the ice maker will shut off and no more ice will be made until the level of the ice in the bin drops. Also the ice maker can be turned off by lifting the arm all the way to the top until in a locked position.
