I believe this is the lock that allows the door to be easyload so that it can open down or across - is it the plastic white piece?

Hi Joe, thank you for your question. This part is your door striker. It actually plugs into the door lock and lets the machine know to lock the door. Unfortunately looking at your model information. I do not see the part you are describing as sold separately from the whole door assembly itself. You may have to replace the whole door to replace that part.
