My Bosch induction cooktop blinks u1 code. Is this related to the pc board? I disconnected the pc board from power for a few hours and i worked for a few minutes before blinking the u1 code again.
For model number Bosch NIT 8065UC/01
Hi Reza,
Thank you for your question. The U1 error code is letting you know that the hob is not getting the correct voltage. There is a cable attached to the hob, before removing it make sure there is no power going to the stove or to the hob. With the power cut to the stove, remove the cord and open the cover to see if there is any burn marks. If there are you will need to replace the connector block. If there is no burn marks, leave the power off for 30 minutes. If you plug the cord back in and there is no code then everything is fine. If the code reappears, then there is an issue with one of the 2 control boards and you will need to use a multimeter to see which one is causing the issue. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
