RELAY

We have an old (purchased close to 20 year ago) double wall oven. Installed by the previous owners of our home. The upper oven started behaving strangely - it would switch to broil at max temp randomly! We called Thermador for help, they sent out vetted service techs. They couldn't source the part. We did a bunch of research to figure out what model we actually had (we didn't know, and Thermador didn't seem to know either). In the end we discovered that we had a CM302, and that this relay board would be the appropriate replacement. We received the part quickly, and other than the fact that the plugs to the board on the right side (multiple different colored plugs) were TOTALLY stuck, we could have changed it ourselves. In the end, we called Thermador back and the same tech came out and just pulled really hard (causing the old board to just bend before the plugs let go) and now our ovens both work normally. We are glad the licensed service tech had to bear the risk of possibly breaking our old board....
