I get ice build up in the evaporator coils in the fresh food section. I have replaced mother board, thermostat in the freezer section as well as the sensor in the fresh food compartment. It will take about 7 days and the build-up starts again. Frig will stay around 40-42 with ice build up. Could this part be the problem

Hi Mariano,
Thank you for your question. If there is ice on the evaporator coils, then the refrigerator has an issue defrost. The issue could be either with the defrost heater or the electronic control board. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The evaporator in the fresh food section frost over. Freezer section set 0 degrees and hold -2 to 1 degree. Fresh food section set at 37 degrees and will hold 37 degrees but does take a long time to get there.

Hello Jeff, thank you for a very interesting question. According to our research, frost in the refrigerator can cause the vents to block, which will prevent the air from circulating properly. We would recommend replacing the defrost thermostat, part number PS1017716, to fix the issue. It protects the evaporator from overheating during the defrost cycle. We hope this solves your problem!
On the refrigerator side my digital temperature is set at 37 degrees, but it keeps getting colder, like 28 degrees today, have tried to cycle the thermostat up and down but still freezing my food and other items,, freezer side seems to be ok ,,,

Hi Robert, thank you for the question. We would recommend checking the temperature sensor of the fresh section, part number PS304103. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope that helps!
