LG Refrigerator Ice Maker - A couple cubes of ice dispense at a time, and then it quits -- then pull cup away and push it back on and a couple more cubes of ice will dispense and then it quits -- and then nothing will happen until you open the door, pull the ice bin out and push it in and close the door and then it will start all over again doing the same thing. Is this the part needed to fix the problem? Is there a cheaper part that will fix the problem? Thanks.

Hello Pam, thank you for your question. One issue to look for is a clog or frozen somewhere along the supply line. The plastic water line PS3526625. Or, maybe there it could be due to poor pressure, The Water Valve is PS3527439. We have also included a video of some additional issues to look for. We hope this helps.

Hi Jim, Thank you for the question. You can test the Micro Switch in the dispenser, PartSelect Number PS3529278 with a multi meter to check for resistance. Hope this helps!
