original plastic fasteners on the rack adjusters wore out and broke
removed old rack adjusters by prying remaining fasteners with a screwdriver, then installed new ones with steel screws. Very simple, and adjusters are better than new now.

Dishwasher Upper Rack Fallen One Side
Popped the old housing apart with screw driver, saving internal part, installed part into new housing, placed in posistion, installed two new screws and it worked like charmed. So simple, I have ordered 2nd part to replace opposite side which is not yet broken. Thanks to the terrific phone assistant who convinced me it would work and not have to replace the entire rack which was suggested by a repair man. . . . . . Many thanks! ! ! !

Plastic parts broke when applied pressure to top dish rack
Family member used rack as support when loading dishes in the rack. The plastic parts broke. Ordered the replacement parts and was easy fix, BUT you will need Torx 15 tool to get it done. So sad they used this screw to fix the dishwasher - would have been so much easier to use a normal Philips head screw. Add about $7.00 for the tool to complete the work, but very easy....

Dishrack Adjuster was broken
Ordered part to replace broken rack adjuster. Part came in a very timely fashion. Realized when I ordered the part that I was missing the "thumb tab" that allows you to do the adjusting. Sent in another order to this company and was confident it would be delivered promptly, which it was. I had a little trouble with the screws being a little tight for the holes they went in but other than that, very easy repair.

Primary problem door dropped open
I first replaced the door balance kit. I had to unhook the water supply to pull the unit out. I replaced the door balance kit first. The pieces were slightly different than my old parts, but fairly easy to figure out. Also, the spring was off on one side so had to confirm where to reconnect it. That took about 30 minutes. I then took out the racks and installed the chopper. The old one came out easily, but it took about 20 minutes to seat the new chopper properly and then reassemble the lower arm. This part of the repair was about another 30 minutes total. Lastly, I replaced the upper rack adjusters, which had broken a while ago and I had pulled together with nylon straps. The new adjusters have metal screws which should be more durable than the plastic clips used in the original equipment. This part of the job took about another 20 minutes, but was easy to complete. The dishwasher door works like new and the top rack is easier to load with the adjusters working properly again.

Dishwasher adjust housing broken.
I'm not a very handy guy and normally don't do repairs. However I felt I could handle this one. I just removed the broken housing, looked the part up on partselect.com. Three days later I received the part and had the new one put on in about 20 min. The only disappointing thing was that the part required a star type end screw driver and lucky I had one or I would not have been happy.

Original part cracked
The repair was very easy. Just removed the old part and put the new part in with two screws instead of the snap together plastic part. The two screws that came with the part had hex or star heads. I couldn't find my hex head set but a small phillips head did the job.
I would use this company again. Fair price. Fast shipping.

top dishrack adjuster pins broke that holds the two main pieces together
I first had to remove the existing adjuster from the rack that was still attached. Once removed it was just a matter of sliding on the new part. The second piece of the adjuster which holds the adjuster to the rack was then screwed on to the first piece with supplied screws. I didn't think that the supplied star shaped screws were necessary. Why not just a philips?? I did have a little trouble getting the rack extended out far enough to clear the dishwasher in order to screw in the back screw of the adjuster.

Upper Rack couldn't be raised - stuck in low position
Pry the inner and outer pieces of the old adjuster apart, setting the lever part aside and noting how it fits between the two pieces. Put the lever into the larger of the new adjuster pieces and hold the rack at the right height so the two new pieces can snap together tightly around the rack. Then simply drive the screws in with a screwdriver. It would be easier to have another person hold the pieces together while you drive in the screws.
