Easy repair - great part
Gambled that this part would replace the noisy fan motor on my Kenmore convection oven for which I could not find the correct part number because the oven is about 10 years old and it paid off. This fan is now running efficiently and quietly.

convection oven fan does not come on
For model number PLCF489CCF
Hello Rex, thank you for your question. We have researched your model and found that first, you need to check the fan area for anything that might be blocking the spin of the blade. A small piece of burnt food may have fallen into the fan and begun blocking the blade. If there is no blockage then the issue is most probably with Convection Fan Motor, part number PS466378. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Thanks again for your great question.

How do you know if your fan is bad? I’ve ordered the lower heating element because when the stove was on it wasnt getting warm and the lower element was cold to the touch. Still after replacing it, the stove was on for 30 mins and only went up 60degrees. From 100degrees to 170 degrees.
Hi Amy,
Thank you for your question. If the oven is not heating correctly, then the issue is likely with the oven sensor, sometimes called the oven thermostat, and you will need to check it with a multimeter. When testing the sensor with a multimeter, the sensor should be tested at room temperature and it should be unplugged from the oven. You will need to measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. Replace the oven sensor if the reading is less than 900 Ohms or more than 1200 Ohms. If this part is working fine, then, depending on your model, you should check the electronic control board, the control panel and the wiring between them. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
