The refrigerator had the above code and when I check on YouTube, it explained that the defrosting was not working properly. It was taking more than 80 minutes to defrost. I ordered the Temperature Sensor first and it was not the issue. I also ordered the Defrost Temperature fuse or the Thermistor. I had to defrost the refrigerator first by using a portable heater to get it done quickly. (See Youtube on how to get to the Defrosting Unit inside the freezer). The Thermistor was the wrong part. I called the Partselect and explained that the part with the heating element is one piece. (Heating Coil Thermistor or Heating Coil). By replacing that piece solved the Error Code issue. I listened to Youtube for the instructions on how to replace the Heater Coil. So if you see the Error Code dH F, you need to replace the Heating Coil, which comes in
one piece and sits on the bottom of the Defrost Element.

Replaced 2 evaporated fan but still not cold enough
Chris Boyle Profile
Hello Hanh, thank you for contacting us. Most of the time this issue is caused by a faulty compressor and replacing it can solve the problem. The compressor set assembly, part number PS12739218, will fit LG LMXS28626S. For proper cooling, the temperature sensor should also be working according to standard conditions. Check the vents as well and make sure there is no blockage. Also, look into the door seals, these should not be damaged. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair.

LG LFCC22426S /00 in last few days top part of fringe keeps cool temperature however freezer slowly is cooling less and less, today has almost above 0 temperature, could be the issue with freezer temperature sensor?
Chris Boyle Profile
Hello Vic, Thank you for contacting us. You can test the sensor with a multimeter to see if it is causing the issue. We would also recommend checking for leaks in the door gasket and test the evaporator fan motor as well. Good luck with your repair.

After I reset the compressor and it starts running my screen lights up with 88 88 if runs a few mins and shuts off it doesn't a loud me to reset any codes for
Chris Boyle Profile
Hello Sam, thank you for contacting us. The 88 error code signifies a normal operating mode or a reset state after a power interruption. If even after resetting, the code persists, we would recommend replacing the temperature sensor, part number PS3636270. We hope this helps.

The refrigerator starts, but not cooling the ammeter mark: 1.8 amp.
Chris Boyle Profile
Hello and thank you for writing. It certainly sounds more like it could be a faulty evaporator fan motor PS3523323, you should check the part(s) for signs of damage, and replace as necessary. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.
