I have an LG top load washer WT5101HW. The problem was either not starting or stopping mid cycle. No error code showed. We replaced the main electronic control board but the problem persists. Thoughts?
For model number WT5101HW
Hello Eric, Thank you for the question. This could indicate the Lid Switch is defective and may need to be replaced. When defective the switch cant tell the board when the lid is closed and safe to start the cycle. Before replacing the switch, check the wires to make sure they are not loose or damaged. We hope this helps!

Nice ate through the wires for the pressure switch and the door lock. I replaced both, but my washer will not start. Could the mice have caused a short and burned the circuit board?
For model number WT5101HV
Hi Arsenio, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend checking the wire harness, part number PS3533442, and the display control board, part number PS3645416, to fix the issue. The wire harness may also have shorted, which would have caused the display board to burn or short. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
Hello,
My machine is cutting in mid cycle. Was able to unplug and finish, but did it again. Now, you can hear on and off beep, but LCD does not come in and door is locked with clothes and water in it.
From other Q&A here, looks like the control board. I would just like a bit of confirmation.
