on/off button works like its supposed to, nd then it won't no matter how many times you push it

Based on our research, if the on/off button does not work after pressing it again, then the issue is most probably with the display power control board, part number PS3623244. Before replacing the board, you may need to check whether the on/off button is properly pressed or not. We hope this solves your problem!
