The screw bolt for the washer plate loosened and caused the plate to come off. I found a flat head washer, is that a part of the screw bolt or did i just have a random washer in the base of tub?
For model number LG WT 5001CW
Hello Dawn, thank you for your question. There is a washer that goes under the washplate and the washer nut. That part number is FAF30369201. This part is a metal washer that is not completely round, but is slightly squared on the edges. If this is the washer that was found, it should be placed under the wash plate, between the plate and the nut. I hope this helps!

The bottom round plate inside the washer has come un attached, we took center cap off & reattach the screw, it was not stripped, nothing appears to be broken, put small round cap back on, seemed fixed, did a load & it came off again. What part do you think I need to fix this ??

The screw bolt for the washer plate loosened and caused the plate to come off. Same as customers Kaye and Dawn. I took center cap off & reattach the screw, it was not stripped but it came loose again on next load. I do not see why replacing the screw will help unless the blue part shown on the photo of a brand new screw is a kind of threadlocker adhesive. Is that the case? Thanks for your help.
