Broken Fan motor
took out original Duct Assembly, put in NEW Duct Assembly the same way the original Duct Assembly was removed in the freezer. The rest was easy to put back together

Does this come with the motor and fan as a whole?What is this fan called and what’s it’s purposes?

Hello Ray, thank you for your question. This duct assembly includes the blower, motor and housing assembled. The Ice fan motor and duct 5209JA1044A circulates air through the ice compartment to freeze the water in the ice maker and keep stored ice frozen. I hope this helps!
