Will the thermal actuator keep the washer from's agitating. This stackable washer will fill, drain, spin but will not wash, your part from part list does look like the same thermal actuator that I have, yours is round and mine is a rectangle the number on my thermal actuator 100331 – 42 K T105 on the bottom is B06
For model number GTUP270EM5WW
Hello Karl, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the thermal actuator cannot stop the washer from agitating. It senses and helps regulate the water temperature in the washer. We would recommend checking if something is stuck in the agitator base. If this is not the issue, then you may need to replace the agitator, part number PS3496877. It rotates back and forth to move the clothes inside the tub to clean the load. We hope this information helps!
