The oven does not turn on. The left hand side of the touchpad; buttons labeled; bake, broil, favorites on/off do not beep. The setup on/off beeps but you can set the time. The remaining all seem to all work i.E. Fan, timer 1&2 work all the number buttons work. Can you offer me some thoughts as to what parts i need to order?

Hello Frank, Thank you for your question. I suggest to check the following parts with a multimeter. PS1570174, long oven sensor. It is designed for use with ovens and ranges. It is similar to a thermostat; it measures and regulates the internal temperature of your oven cavity. PS11745985, electronic oven control. It is possible that the relays are beginning to wear out on this portion of the board. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, we have videos available to assist you. I hope this is helpful! Have a wonderful day.

The broil does not heat. And when baking the top oven element sometimes comes on high after preheating. At times all control functions won’t work unless i reset it by disconnecting the power . This started happening after cleaning cycle was used a year ago.

Hi Warren,
Thank you for contacting us. If the oven is not heating correctly, the issue may be with the oven sensor. The oven temperature sensor is the part that monitors the oven temperature and signals the electronic control board to turn the elements on and off. Before removing this part from the oven and testing it with a multimeter for continuity, unplug the oven from the electrical outlet. To test the sensor, you will need to reference your owner’s manual to determine what the correct reading should be for your model, as this varies from model to model. To test it for continuity, use a multimeter on the Rx1 setting and touch the terminals with the probes. This test needs to be done with the sensor at room temperature to produce accurate results. If your test results do not meet the manufacturer’s guidelines, you need a replacement temperature sensor. If the sensor is fine, you will need to check the elements, the electronic control board and the wiring between the parts to see which one is causing the issue. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.

The oven cannot be turned ON anymore because the left hand side of the touchpad buttons labeled "bake", "broil" do not beep. The "convect" beeps but the two "quick set pads" boutton on both side of the screen doesn't beep as well so I cannot confirm the setup of convection I want. The remaining all seem to all work (i.E.
e Fan, timer 1&2 work and all the number buttons work).
I did some research and it often point out to the ribbon cable / wire harness that can start to loose some connection / melt because of the heat.
Can you offer me some thoughts as to what parts i need to order? Do I really need to get a full new head / full control panel & electrical main board or is it possible to only get the front touch panel with a news ribbon cable?
Thanks.

Hello,
I have an issue where the right side cook top of my stove is not working at all. I know it is not the cook top as it works on the left side. also neither of the pot warmers work when plugged into the left so thinking it is likely not the surface burner switch. I believe it is either the burner cartridge terminal block or the motherboard.
are there any questions you can ask to help me pin point what part needs to be replaced. i have a 120 volt meter and can disassemble and test voltage it that helps narrow it down.
model: jes9860cas02
serial number: d23199814
thanks,
