I asked about the 3 prong and only having 2 things to plug in and you answered watch the video. I already have watched and they plug a grounding wire in, but i don’t have a grounding wire not attached to anything.
Hi Kathy, Thank you for the question. CO terminal would have white wire and NO will have black wire. NC is the terminal that will not be used, you can just leave it empty. Hope this helps!

When i press the start button dryer starts, but stops as soon as i release the start button. Does it sound like a new start button switch will fix the problem?
For model number 77876100
Hi Gene,
Thank you for your inquiry. The push-to-start switch is one part you will need to check. There are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the drive motor, the door switch actuator spring/lever, the door catch and strike, the disposable thermal fuse, the lid switch, the belt and the blower wheel. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The dryer will not start after it has run a cycle. The first dry cycle works correctly but when you go to dry the second load and push the start button it just buzzes and does not start. After you wait for it to cool the dryer will then run correctly again.

Hi Jeff, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing or replacing the Thermal Cut-Off Kit, PartSelect Number PS334278.This kit includes one high limit thermostat with a limit of 250 degrees Fahrenheit, and one thermal cut-off fuse with a limit of 360 degrees Fahrenheit. The thermostat and fuse help prevent the dryer from overheating. Hope this helps!

My dryer wants to run as soon as you turn the control knob to dry. I pulled one wire off the push to start switch and it stops. So i looked for a switch for the dryer and all i found was a switch 2 connections and mine has 4. Am i on the right track for my problem and the right switch?
For model number TEDS740JQ1
Hi Dan,
Thank you for your question. It sounds like it could be that your push to start switch is stuck in a closed position so it starts the machine right when you set the cycle. This switch is not the correct one for your model though. I have listed the correct one down below for you. You can test the part with a multi meter to see if it is showing that it is open or closed. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

When i press the start button my dryer starts as it always had, but now it stops as soon as i release the start button. However, if i hold or tape the start button down, the dryer goes through the entire timer cycle, it spins normally, and it dries the clothes fine. So, my question is: Could this problem be caused by a defective start button; or, is it more likely that the problem could be do to a defective motor relay switch? I know that the push-to-start button can easily be replaced, but if the motor relay switch is bad, can this part be replaced by itself or would i need to replace the entire motor?
For model number 11077876100
HI Gene,
Thank you for contacting us again. You can test your start switch with a multi meter to determine if that part is not working. Your motor relay switch would only come with the motor, so you would have to replace that whole part if your start switch is testing fine. Good luck with your repair.

How i can diagnose that the start to push button is bad ?
For model number LG4441XWW0
Hi Amthal,
Thank you for your inquiry. To verify if there is an issue with the push-to-start switch I would use a multimeter to check the continuity of the part. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My conservator by Crosley dryer does not shut off when i open the door. Would you please verify the correct switch that will solve this problem. Thank you!
For model number CEDS563MQ1
Hi Carla, thank you for your question. There are a few parts that you will want to check. First and foremost you may actually want to check your door switch. That might be the more likely problem. However if that part is fine, you may want to go on to check your thermostats and your thermal fuses. You can test all of those parts with a multi meter. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
