This part is located behind the control panel. It helps determine the level of water in the washer. As the water fills the hose, while tub is filling, it will push the air against a diaphragm inside the switch. More water that enters the tub, more pressure is applied against the switch.

I replaced the tub seal which in the process i removed the hose and electrical leads form the water level switch now the tub will only fill a small load. Everything worked fine prior to replacing the seal. Is there added water in the tube creating air pressure on the switch making it shut the supply off early? Or is there a possibility i have the three electrical leads switched around. There's a white, blue and red wire and i don't have a wiring diagram.

Hi Mark, thank you for your question. It could be that you got some water into that hose. I would suggest checking it and maybe using a compressed air canister to gently clear it out. After removing the hose entirely that is. We do not have a wiring diagram available but we do have an installation video that shows how these pressure switches are normally installed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_3WfRff41E. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
