My unit control knob is stuck at the 'plate warmer' portion of the control knob. It continues to reset at that position without completing the wash cycle when the door close mechanism is engaged. I hesitate to force the knob to turn as it appears to be stuck in this position, and I'm afraid of breaking something. Do you think this part mentioned here would solve the problem? Or would I need something else? I thank you in advance for your advice.
