The bottom element will not heat above 160. I can use the top element to broil with no problems. Is there any thing else i should check before ordering part number (wb44k10008) part select number (ps249241) . Also, dose the element just pull out?

Hi Dan,
Thank you for your question. If there is little or no heat when baking, then you will need to check the oven sensor, the convection element, the terminal block kit and the broil element. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Yesterday my oven would not come up the required heat temp for baking option. The broiler worked fine. After heating the over with the broiler and switching to bake, all worked fine. The self cleaning option also works. I’m now hearing a clinking noise like it’s cycling on and off to maintain the temperature. Could the temperature sensor be bad?

Hi Dan, Thank you for the question. Yes, this indicates the Oven Sensor, PartSelect Number: PS236398 is defective and needs to be replaced. Hope this helps!
This is a follow on email from dec 27; thanks so much for your quick reply. I replaced my temperature sensor. Tested the sensor i replaced, it resistance was 1070 ohms. The good news is that the following controls work; bake, broil and self cleaning, the bake temperature is a little slow to heat up to 400 deg, about 15-20 minuets. The bad is that the convection option only works if the oven is heated first, say to 350 and then switching the oven off and resetting to the convection option. The fan also works. Please advise.

Hello Dan, Thank you for your inquiry. I would check the convection element, the convection motor and the bake element. Also check the wiring as well. Hope this helps!
