Does this part come with instructions for a homeowner to install by myself? Am i able to return the part for a refund if i do not install it?

Hi Richard,
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately the manufacturer does not always give instructions with their parts. However the easiest way to make sure that you are connecting the wires back to where they are supposed to go, is to take a picture of your old board before removing any wires. Another way would be to hold your new board up against your old board and just transfer the wires that way. Good luck with your repair.

Thank you for your question. If the dishwasher will not start, our sources recommend replacing either the latch assembly under part PS12585469 or the blower vent kit under part PS2334193 for your model. Hope this helps!
