How can i replace this part? How is it installed? I turned on the microwave when the shelf it supports was not properly placed, and the part was burned. It's the only thing that burned, i think.
For model number Part #: WB06X10824, model JVM175ODP2WW
Hello Laurie, thank you for your question. You will have to remove the outer cover of the appliance, to access the back of the holder. Then press in on the tab and push it into the cavity of the unit. Then from inside the cavity, you would press the new one into place until it locks. Good luck with your repair!

Thank you for your rapid response to my question. In your answer you said i would have to remove the outer cover of the microwave to get to the part. Does this involve dismantling the appliance from the wall, or is there an easier way to remove the outer cover? Thanks gain, and please let me know. Laurie
