When I turn on the gas burner knob for the burner to light I do not hear that clicking or ignition sound. The gas is on and I have to light it the old fashion way --- with a match. Would this be the part?
Chris Boyle Profile
Hello John, Thanks for your question. The spark module would be a common cause for your issue, but it may also be worth replacing the burner spark switch and/or the igniter. I hope this helps.

turn oven on, igniter glows after a few minutes smell gas, if I blow in the broiler part of the oven it will flame up, what could be the cause? The igniter bar is new.
Chris Boyle Profile
Hello Deborah, thank you for getting in touch. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest checking the spark module, part number PS235158, to solve the problem. A malfunctioning spark module can most probably cause this issue. We hope this helps!
