My washer is getting grease in with the load of clothes. Does a bad agitator seal cause this? I replaced the bottom transmission seal and stopped it from leaking grease down below. Does the small rubber oring on the shaft also act as a grease seal?? i think i may also need an agitator shaft??
For model number A882 Maytag washer

My washer is getting grease in with the load of clothes and makes a knocking sound during the spin cycle. What will fix this?
For model number LA7500
Hi David, thank you for your question. It may be this part that is the issue. However you may want to look at your suspension as well for the knocking noise that you are getting. Good luck with your repair.

My drive shaft seems stuck inside the transmission and I am unable to remove it to inspect and/or replace it. Any ideas on how to remove it?
For model number A9200
Hello Nar,
Thanks for your question. You may need to use rust remover and a spanner wrench alongside a rubber mallet in order to pry out the drive shaft's nut.
I hope this helps.
