Hi Mike,
Thank you for your question. Yes, you would have to replace your handle to get those pieces. Those pieces are only made with the handle. Good luck with your repair.

How do you remove the door handle?
For model number wmh1164xvs2
Hi Michael,
Thank you for your question. Before you begin any repair please unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet. You will need to remove the plastic lining around the inside of the door. There are retainer clips holding the liner in place and you will need to use a putty knife to remove it. Depending on the type of microwave you have, you may have to come in from the bottom or from the top to remove the lining. Gently slide the putty knife in between the lining and the frame and go around the frame and gently pry it loose. On the hinge side you will need to come in from the backside to pry the lining off. Once the door lining has been removed, you should see 2 screws securing the handle. Unthread them to remove the old handle and install the new one. Reinstall the door lining and restore power to the microwave. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

For my microwave, how to remove old handle and what size screw to use with the new handle w10210887? Thanks!
For model number YWMH1162XVS3
Hello Eric, thank you for your question. To access the handle the inner door frame would have to be removed. To do this you would take a small flat head screwdriver or putty knife and gently pry the inner door panel away from the door. It is held on by small clips. Once the inner panel is removed the screws for the handle will be exposed. Unfortunately, the screw for the handle is not listed in our system. I hope this helps.

Bought a new handle, cannot for the life of me get the old one off. What are the tricks? Also, new handle did not come with screws, is that normal?
For model number GMH3204XVS1
Hello Brian, so this is going to fairly simple, but there are a few steps. First unplug the microwave, then remove the top grill with screw driver. Remove the door from the hinges, and place on flat surface. Remove door trim with putty knife. Remove screws holding the inner and outer door panels together. Use flat head screw driver to move the tabs that keep the inner panel in place, and remove it. Then simply unscrew the door handle, and install new one. Hope this helps!
