This shows a cross reference with gelvstc, does that mean it is the same part? Also, dies it come with instructions?

Thank you for contacting us. gelvstc is not a valid number for anything. This is the stacking kit available underneath your model information so I believe that it should work for you no problem. Usually they do come with instructions, however it is fairly easy to install these parts. Sometimes they come with strips that you past on to the top of your washer. To protect it from scratching. There are two brackets meant for the right and left back corners of your appliances. You generally angle them into an opening on the dryer, then screw the bottom portion of the bracket into screw holes on the washer. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

The control wheel does not light up, so i do not know the position of the function
