Really thankful!
It looked like a new cooktop would be necessary and I didn't want that, but with an old JennAir gas cooktop the likelihood of a repair seemed slim. Then I found PartSelect and phoned them. Wanted to replace the grill that came with the range with more burners
1. Unpacked the new burneres 2. Took the grates off the grill 3. Removed the grill burner 4. Slipped in the new burner 5. Put the new grates in place
Total time, approx 30 seconds!!!

Not enough burners...
Since purchasing our house in the spring of 2005, I really liked our Jenn-Air range. We realized that we did not use the grill as much as we thought we would. I had purchased the griddle from PartSelect. This time I went for the gas burner with black grates. I was very pleased that the installation was quick. I had replaced the grill (stashed the parts in the pantry) in about 20 seconds. I can now swap them in and out at will!

I had a grill instead of stove burners

needed gas cartridge
Did nothing but pull grill cartridge out and plug burner cartridge in. Took less than 30 seconds. No tools, no wires. Easy, easy, easy.

Replace the grill with two burners.
Open box (that was the most difficult part) Remove sealed burner unit and grates. Remove grate and grill burner from stove. Install new sealed burner unit and grates. Total elapsed time 7 min.

replacement gas burner for grill burner
Not much story. All I had to do was unplug the grill burner and plug in the gas burner and place the grate and it worked. No tools or wire connections but I had wanted to get this for a couple years.

Hello Eileen, Thank you for the question. They are all the same size, so as long as the one you have now is the One-piece sealed burners with porcelain-on-cast iron burner grates, this will work. We hope this helps!

Can this sealed burner unit replace the grill on the model JGD8130ADS21 JennAir cook top? Are these genuine Jenn Air parts manufactured by Jenn Air or made by another company? How can you tell if the part is genuine?

Do you have a layout print of this assembly also does this need the brass ring and where does it go i didn't see one on my part

Hello Pat, Thank you for your inquiry. We do have a parts diagram listed under model JGA8150ADB12. The brass ring goes at the top of the front venturi tube. Hope this helps!
