Apartment-sized washing machine jumping around during wash cycle. Needed Shock absorbers.
I rolled the machine onto its face, door toward floor and removed back and bottom panels.
I then removed both shock absorbers (dampeners). I soon learned they were no longer available , were out of production. Your company and all others told me the same.
However, I learned that a Samsung part number was an exact match. This I ordered from you. PS4212146 DAMPER-SHOCK;GW-PJT,STEE for $21.11 each So, you might want to note this fact, the substitute part number and application(?).
Also, I installed a new drive belt purchased from you: PS2037087 Drive Belt for $38.06 each
So, for under $100 the old machine is now working perfectly.

Do i need two belts? How does this part attach to my washer? Do i need to go from the back or the top of the appliance?
For model number MAH2400AWW
Hello Raymond, Thank you for your inquiry. There is only one drive belt for this model. Replacing the belt is actually very straight forward on this model. You will need to pull the washer out and unplug it. Remove the screws going into the the back access panel on the back of the washer. Remove the panel and you'll see a very large pulley on the back of the tub. This is your tub pulley. Attached to the bottom of the tub is a motor. You'll see a small pulley which is part of the motor. Loop the belt around the motor pulley first. Then start to wrap the belt around the tub pulley. I will not fit around the entire pulley without a little assistance so start to wrap it around the right side of the tub pulley first, then turn the tub pulley counter-clockwise and hold the belt onto the pulley. This will walk the belt onto the pulley and you're done. Hope this helps!

Washer on bottom; dryer on top. Stacked in a closet for space. The washer drum will not spin. It was working fine and in the middle of the cycle there there was a SERIES of VERY loud banging...like a hammer would make. It continued to turn but slowly (one or two minutes) it died completely. Washer was half full of waster with a full load of clothes. Very slowly (4 -5 weeks) the water drained enough to open the door withwout flooding my apartment. HELP1

Hello Robert, thank you for writing. The banging that sounds like a hammer was likely the load was uneven and the shock absorbers were banging against the cabinet. That is the first thing I would check. And I've attached a video of the drain pump PartSelect Number PS11741533 in case that go damaged as well.
