Same original part, worked as described!
Same original part, worked as described! Was worried from one review but gave it a try as the other option was to order from repairclinic.com from the United States. Part came within 2 business days from time of order. Packaged well and no damage upon arrival. Everything was good when installed and the ice maker works the same as before (made the same amount of ice within the same timeframe too).

Exactly what we needed
Received this pretty quick and to our door. I was sent a link from PartSelect to a YouTube video of how to change this part out, what a great build on the part of PartSelect! Once I had put it into the fridge I ran the test and it worked well. I am really happy to have the ice maker back and wish I would have ordered the part sooner. Thank you PartSelect for keeping my fridge information and making the order and delivery process seemless.

Ice maker not operating correctly.
I determined that the ice maker was misfiring during harvest (defrost & water refill). I needed a new ice maker. The faulty ice maker was tucked into the interior of the refrigerator and I had no idea how to get to it. I sent Parts Select a message on their website and they answered me with a film clip on how to replace the ice maker. Unbelievable, I was so impressed. Ordered the part, replaced the part and I swear it makes more ice then it ever has before. If you have mechanical ability, I highly recommend this process. Thank you, Parts Select..

Is there a video on how to change the ice maker in this model? Thanks
For model number Mft2776dem00
Hello Tyler, thank you for your inquiry. Sadly, we do not have any video available at the moment, but we have found some relevant instructions for you to replace the ice maker. You may follow the following steps: unplug the power cord and shut off the water supply line valve. Open the water filter cover and remove the water filter. Unthread the screws securing the upper cover panel. Detach the panel and disconnect the led light wire harness to fully remove the panel. Detach the ice box cover, disconnect the heater wire connector. To fully remove the cover, unthread the screws securing the ice box. Disconnect the main icebox wire connector, ice maker and heater wire connectors. Pull out the water line retaining bracket. Depress the retaining ring to release the ice maker fill tube from the dual water valve. Pull the ice box forward to remove it. Unthread the screws securing the ice maker cover. Peel back the tape and release the wires from the channel. Lift the rear of the cover up and pull back to detach. Push the wire grommet out of the cover and move the cover out of the way. Peel back the tape and disconnect the two small icemaker wire connectors. Now fully remove the old ice maker. Follow the same steps backward to install new ice maker. Glad to be of assistance!
