I had some issues with water draining and disassembled the drain screen, filter and retainer (part #3) while there was still water in the basin. I’m now trying to reassemble, and I can not identify where the retainer is suppose to clip back in. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Our dishwasher keeps failing to drain. We bought a new pump, had it installed by a professional etc and now it STILL beeps and does NOT drain. VERY FRUSTRATING. IS THIS A DESIGN DEFECT??
