My oven door opens & closes. However, it does not close tightly and when expansion occurs as the oven gets hot the door goes back enough that contact stops w. The switch that turns oven off when door is open. Is my problem most likely the door hinge or the door receptacle? Thank you.
For model number PLEB27T9FCC
Hello Mike, Thank you for the question. The issue woudl more then likley be the Hinge, PartSelect Number: PS2345320. I looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued. There is no part substitutions listed. My suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers. Hope this helps!
Hello Joe,
Thanks for your question. The hinge receptacles can be accessed from the sides of the machine. You will need to remove the front panel, and then slide the unit out around a foot to access the receptacles.
I hope this helps.
