My ice maker will not stop dispensing.The only time it stops is when the door is open. I tried to change the ribbon but that didn't work. Please help me figure out this problem? I don't have the money to pay a service person to come in and look at it.

Hi Myron, Thank you for the question. I suggest replacing the Micro Switch,PartSelect Number PS1526433. The terminal might be stuck in the open position and not able to close to stop dispensing the ice. Hope this helps!
My ice and water dispenser does not light up or dispense ice or water. Would it be circuit board?
