How can u tell if a control panel or control board is the problem, my appliance is lit up but just beeps and does not start, tried all reset options and won’t give me any codes
For model number EFME427UIW
Hi Debra, thank you for your inquiry. To verify if the dryer control panel is working correctly, you will need to check it with a multimeter for continuity. Set your multimeter to the Rx1 setting when performing this test. If it is working correctly, you will receive a reading between 2000 and 3500 ohms. If you receive reading outside this range, the control panel, part number PS12365942, will need to be replaced. To verify if the electronic control board, part number PS12365943, is the issue, check it for signs of damage, wear, scorching or burn marks. If it shows any of these signs, it will need to be replaced. We hope this helps!
