Does this spring replace the door hinge spring on the model noted? It is a straight simple spring with "J" hooks at both ends, and the overall length from hook to hook is about 8". All the parts places I have tried said this part is discontinued. Id their a substitute I can use?

Am I correct in assuming that Bosch dishwasher model SHE4AM12UC/01 uses straight springs (no cables) to slow the opening of the door? Does Part# 00622205 contain 1 or two springs? Thank you.
